Key Innovation Objectives
The partners will:
Expand the HUSTLE Defense Accelerator to 3 models: Traditional, Academic Tech Transfer, Transitional Entrepreneurs to reach more entrepreneurs from more diverse life situations to increase participation in the program.
Expand a microelectronics / defense track within GENIUS NY and Surge Accelerator with possible intrapreneurship track.
Create an early stage, defense product seed fund leveraging SSBCI funds to make available more and new risk capital for innovation and startups in tough-tech disciplines
The results will be cultivation and creation of new startups with potential defense products (with a focus on non-traditional founders), fund more of those technology developments with risk capital, and encourage large defense firm participation in innovation and intrapreneurship activities.
